This letter was written to the National Park Service in response to the fact that the display of the aluminum capstone replica was conveniently oriented in such a way that it was impossible to see the one and only side of the capstone that had a Tribute to God. Where three of the sides described the architects, engineers, and other people involved in the building of the monument, the East facing side of the capstone, which had written on it “Laos Deo” (”Glory to God” in Latin), could not be read at all. This was recognized as a subtle form of suppression of truth as Romans 2 expresses, and censorship of evidence that early Americans actually practiced acknowledging and honoring God.

First off, meeting notes for October’s meeting are being complied and will be up shortly.
November 18, 2007 Meeting Notes
The subject of the night involved Providential events occurring during the reformation and leading up to the Pilgrims departure for the Americas.
The materials presented were related to the Principle of Sowing and reaping (Gal 6:7-9)
In the first part of the meeting, we viewed a DVD entitled “The Jamestown Quadricentennial” dealing with “The Coming of the Bible to America” by Dr. Marshall Foster. Dr. Foster read from Eph 1:17-23 in the movie.
In the second part of the meeting we briefly discussed how God used Squanto in the foundation of this nation. I have written a brief essay that compiles a couple of accounts of how God moved Providentially in the Pilgrim story.
